Inventory of American Labor Landmarks needs your help!

Do you know of a labor landmark in your community?  Are there places that tell stories about working people and their achievements?  Check out the information below, passed on by the Labor Heritage Foundation.  The LHF is looking to catalog America’s labor landmarks and need your help locating them.

The LMP is a collaborative endeavor which aims to recognize the events surrounding the Lattimer Massacre, an incident that changed the labor movement and impacted the world by bringing to light economic disparities and ethnic tensions in the anthracite region of PA.

    The old Paragon off road park. Contains old ruins from coal mining. Foundations among slag piles and strip mines , have been researching area for yrs. can’t find out name of old town here. Help

    Linda, can you tell me if the ruins are clustered in a single area? Are they ordered like a company town, or scattered? My friend says that the Coxe Brothers had a mining operation in this area. It could be mining related or could be old company housing. I will have to take a look when I get back in town. Thanks for your comments!
